With voting now open in the Grow Wild England Flagship Site competition, the Love Square, Sheffield project is starting to capture the imagination of the city and beyond.

David Blunkett, MP for Sheffield Brightside & Hillsborough, is the latest public figure to get on board and he has now giving the project his full backing. He said:

“The Love Square Grow Wild scheme will transform this disused and derelict site in the centre of Sheffield into an amazing, vibrant wildflower meadow teeming with wildlife.

“The “mobile wilderness” plan offers a new way of thinking about urban regeneration which can be replicated in cities up and down the country. I’m excited to be involved in this great scheme and urge you all to vote Love Square. This is not just about Sheffield – it’s about the future of all of our cities.”
